Jill Taylor Neal (she/they) is a Yorkshire-born Australian poet living in regional WA. As both an aroace and a neurodivergent woman in her mid-fifties, she doesn't just 'write' about liminal spaces, she embodies them.Along with her shortlisted and prize-winning works, her poems have been widely anthologised in journals such as Into the Wetlands (2023), Poetry d’Amour (2025), and Witchcraft. Volume 6: Heroines Anthology (2025). She is also a regular contributor to WA Poets' online journal, Creatrix. As a former editor and coordinator at WA Poets Inc., Jill has also contributed her skills to such titles as Brushstrokes V (WA Poets Publishing, 2024), Poetry d’Amour (WA Poets Publishing, 2024), and Full Circle: A Pathways Chapbook (WA Poets Publishing, 2025).Seldom found far from a decent cuppa, Jill remains a dedicated witness to the evolution of our literary dreamscape—popcorn at the ready and curious to see what comes next.
